The original Ecosilk bag is an attractive, all-purpose environmentally friendly shopping bag, first produced in 2001 to specifically replace single use plastic bags. Strong, light weight and compact, they are a recyclable bag, made from 100% nylon parachute silk in a large range of beautiful colours. Ecosilk bags are reliable, easily carrying up to 14 kilos and are guaranteed to last for at least 5 years with daily or weekly use. The bag will take as much as you can pack into it – your arm is more likely to tire rather than the bag not coping with whatever weight you put in it. Ecosilk bags have no built in obsolescence – they are designed to be reused thousands of times – with stitching methods chosen for their strength and durability. A quick machine wash and line dry (cool iron only) will see your bag looking fresh, clean and ready to use.
